Which are the best beaches in Ibiza? That’s the question that any visitor to the island makes, especially when there’s little time and want to discover the best of the island. With a 210 kilometer coastline, there are beaches for all tastes: big, small, crowded, secluded, with beach bars… Here we bring you a selection of nine of the best beaches in Ibiza.

Ses Salines:
Ibiza’s most famous beach. Located within a natural park, it has crystalline waters and fine white sand. Ideal for going with children, since its waters are very shallow and the little ones can bathe safely. It is also the beach of the famous, where many of its beach bars host every summer many celebrities and famous people.

Es Cavallet: Located in the natural park of Ses Salines, it’s a long sandy beach with deep blue sea. Less noisy than the previous one, it’s a nudist beach and also known for having a gay area at Chiringay beach bar.

Cala Comte: Also known as Platges de Comte, it’s a set of three beautiful beaches with white sand, turquoise waters and sandstone walls in the background. It’s an ideal place to watch the sunset and for spending a wonderful day at the beach, always with clean and clear waters.

Cala d´Hort: This small beach, with fine sand, pebbles and blue sea is very attractive for having amazing views of the magical island of Es Vedrà, origin of many fantastic legends. It is also a good place to eat a delicious paella or a fresh fish dish at any of its restaurants

Cala Saladeta: This beautiful beach on the coast of the Sant Antoni area can only be reached by foot or by boat, although it’s not a long walk. It is a unique spot because it’s a pristine beach with no constructions nearby. Crystal clear waters, white sand and a young atmosphere.

Cala d´en Serra: Located in the north of the island, in the municipality of Sant Joan de Labritja, this beach is very quiet and even in the middle of summer is very little crowded. It has a little beach bar where they offer simple and easy dishes. It’s surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation.

Benirràs: This beach is famous for its drum party, celebrated every Sunday at sunset where many hippies gather and play drums and percussion instruments. Surrounded by pine trees, it’s located in the north of the island and has several restaurants specialized in paellas.

S’Aigua Blanca: Nudist beach located in the municipality of Santa Eulària, it has very clean and wavy waters. It has a beautiful rocky scenery, two beach bars and it’s perfect to visit in the morning or at noon, because in the late afternoon and evening it can be too shady.
